ABOUT US

The Australian Colour Budgerigar Association is an inclusive club that promotes the ethical keeping, breeding and exhibition of small, colourful, well marked, active and healthy budgerigars in local communities. The society especially welcomes families with children who are new to the budgerigar hobby.

 

COMPETITIONS

The association has developed its own competition standard and actively engages youth and children to participate in shows. The ACBA offers special entry categories for children's pet budgies at all of its shows.

 

MAKING CHILDREN SAFE

In order to promote the safety and well-being of children at ACBA event, all event coordinators are qualified and accredited educators who have a current Working With Children authority.
